Biography
Altan Aytaç joined Tofaº – a joint venture between Fiat Group Automobiles and Koç Group – in 1992, and was initially part of the team that set up the CBU logistics department. In 2003, he took over various responsibilities, including commercial projects coordination, Fiat Brand Manager, and Alfa Romeo and Lancia Business Unit Director. In March 2008, he was appointed in his current post, where he is responsible for inbound and outbound logistics for the carmaker’s plant in Bursa, and foreign trade operations of the company.

Biography
Sadik Bayder has been a director and Board member at Barsan Global Logistics for the past seven years. Biography
Özlem Gülþen started working in 1995 at the Cumhuriyet newspaper. Her first step into automotive was in 1998, when she joined CMS Jant in sales. She worked at the company between 2004 and 2006 as sales manager. Gülþen is a graduate of the Yýldýz Teknik University and is currently doing an MBA at Bilgi University.

Biography
Cengiz Kabatepe started his career with Ford Otosan in 1975, and has occupied a number of posts with the carmaker since that time, including application engineer, method engineer, production planning team leader at the Ýnönü Plant, production planning manager at the same plant, central planning manager at the Istanbul facility and import purchasing manager at Istanbul. He was recently promoted to his current role, based in Kocaeli.

Biography
Ozgur Kalelioglu started his career in maritime services industry as customer services and marketing manager of the Arkas Port Group. In 2007, Kalelioglu was promoted to group manager for Arkas Port Services, responsible for liner contracts, sales and business development of all ports under the Arkas umbrella. He was appointed as director in January 2008, and is responsible for all commercial and management affairs of the group.

Biography
Barýþ Melek Doðan joined Anadolu Isuzu as Planning Specialist in 1998. She then moved to the Teklas Rubber Company where her responsibilities included logistics and customer service operations. Doðan was instrumental in setting up the CHEP Automotive Service Centre in Gebze, as a project manager. She joined Avon Automotive as Purchasing and Logistics Manager in 2005 during the launch of Avon’s expansion in Turkey. Her focus is now is local sourcing projects and Customs operations.

Biography
Peter Menzel has more than 17 years experience in the shipping industry, covering container and multi-purpose activities, and for over four years, the car carrier section. Menzel has been with K Line Europe for more than four years and has been in his present post since January 2007.

Biography
After completing his Masters in Industrial Engineering, Murat Ofluoglu joined Ford Otosan in Turkey, with responsibility for SCM projects for the its Golcuk plant. He helped to develop an inbound local supplier base and SCM management systems and a returnable packaging system. He was also involved with outbound vehicle distribution and compound management systems. Murat joined LINPAC Europe in 2004 and was instrumental in setting up LINPAC Turkey in 2005. His responsibilities include sales and marketing and new SCM systems development.

Biography
Lutz Quietmeyer holds a degree in engineering from the University of Braunschweig, Germany and a Masters in Business Administration from the HEC School of Management in France. Previously, Quietmeyer managed logistics operations for an automobile supplier and redesigned supply chains in the food industry. He has been in his current post at Renault’s head office since the beginning of 2008.

Biography
Ali Sener started his career with Nestlé in 1992 as an engineer in the technical and supply chain departments. His 14-year career with the company encompassed various roles as technical manager, projects manager, and warehousing and distribution manager. In 2006, he joined DHL Exel Supply Chain Turkey. His responsibilities include developing the automotive and industry sectors in the country and managing operations in accordance with DHL’s global policy.

Biography
Konstantin Skovoroda holds a law degree from the Moscow State Law Academy and he started his professional career as a lawyer. His specialisation is in financial law. In 2003 Skovoroda took up his first director’s position as the Deputy to the General Director at Trans Logistic Consult. Since 2007 he has held the position of General Director of the RTL Group, operating in the logistics industry.
 
Prof. Mehmet Tanyas

Biography
Mehmet Tanyas completed his PhD in the Industrial Engineering Department of the Technical University of Istanbul in 1982. He has headed the International Logistics Department of the Okan University in Istanbul since September 2006. Tanyas is also the founder of the Logistics Association in Turkey and its current president.

Biography
Ercan Tezer is a former lecturer at the University of Ankara. His first post in the automotive industry was as general manager of the Ford Tractor Manufacturing Company and then he worked for Daimler Benz Company as a marketing director from 1983 to 1992. Tezer joined the OSD in 1992. In addition, he has been the vice president of OICA (the International Organisation of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers for the past two years.

Metin Turkay is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Koc University. Dr Turkay received his BSc MSc degrees from METU and completed his PhD at Carnegie Mellon University. His research interest includes development of mathematical modelling approaches and solution algorithms for complex systems including automotive logistics.

Biography
Markos Vassilikos joined Neptune Lines in 2004 as Deputy General Manager, and heads the company’s internal operational functions, vessel management and the reengineering of business processes. He has 20 years of experience in the design, management and certification of large operational and engineering projects related to shipbuilding and shipping. Vassilikos holds an Ocean Engineer’s Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and a Masters in Ocean Systems Management from MIT.

Onur Yalçýn joined Tofaþ - Türk Otomobil Fabrikalarý, Fiats joint venture with the Koç Group in Turkey in 1993 as a capacity analyst. He was involved in the production planning and CKD departments between 1995 and 2004. He was later appointed as manager of the CBU logistics department. Yalçýn has been in his current post since 2006, involved in the supply chain structure.

Biography
Between 1984 and 1991, Christian Zbylut was Director of the Munich depot and then International Director at Heppner (freight forwarding). He also worked in the freight division of Eurotunnel prior to joining Ducros as sales and marketing vice-president. He then joined CHEP France as Chairman and Managing Director and moved to GEFCO in October 2001. Zbylut took up his current post in October 2007.
